Playa Tiburon

A favorite place of ours on Isla, a place we need to go more often, is Playa Tiburon.
It has that 'old' style' atmosphere...it feels like the 1940s or something, and is used more by locals than by foreigners.  I guess it's not chic enough for them.
But, it  has something very authentic about it-- lots of integrity.  I hope it stays that way.

There is something so cool & classic about the entrance
I think I could picture Frank Sinatra or someone coming here...      back in the day.................

ok, so some parts are kind of tacky, including this sign; and it's true, it's a little sad with the nurse shark out back in a pen...
but I wouldn't say Dolphin Discovery is much better.... both are after the photo opp. peso

Still, the side yards, the trees, the setting
and the entrance make a statement.

the menu doesn't look too bad;
Have seen a lot of Mexican families having Tik 'n Xic, the special fish dish here, which is grilled out on the side grills.

Lancheros does that also, but this place doesn't cater to extranjeros quite as much.

There is something just fine about that.

and the sunsets from the beach,  not bad...
